The Old 96 District Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), has celebrated over one hundred years of service to South Carolina. Since 1914, Daughters have continued to strive to meet the objectives of the members that served before them. Members volunteer countless hours educating children about our country's history, honoring our military and veterans, and focusing on historic preservation projects.
DAR is a non-political, volunteer women's society with members in the United States and internationally. More than one million women have joined the DAR since it was founded.
